Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology, SOM

The Department of Pharmacology of Saint George’s University School of Medicine is seeking to recruit a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor level. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, enthusiastic and successful team.

Candidates should possess a PhD, a PharmD, or an MD, relevant academic training in Pharmacology, and experience in teaching Pharmacology to Medical students in an academic environment.

The successful applicant should have excellent oral and written communication skills and a commitment to the education of future health-care professionals. Teaching experience in the US medical curriculum would be a distinct advantage.

Primary responsibilities will include teaching Pharmacology in the second year of the School of Medicine’s Basic Sciences curriculum. The successful candidate must be able to teach the whole spectrum of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology and contribute to curriculum review and innovation.
