Holistic

A distinctive holistic approach underlies learning that reaches across disciplines and sectors, seeking the total health of communities, and is a unique feature of our Centre for Advancing International Management.

The MBA works as a “community of practice” for participants, connecting student teams from major international cities around the globe in cohorts who advance through the program together. The program delivers the basic MBA skillset, but creates new dimensions of value by integrating knowledge from across sectors, addresses health management issues as well as others, and is set in a culturally-diverse environment, with actual organizational results being generated through class activities. To accomplish this, each team contributes their growing expertise to a multi-sector project as the curriculum unfolds, and then presents a capacity-building plan at the end of the program at our Project Laboratory in Grenada. Many of the project teams will partner with NGOs, businesses or agencies working in their subject area.
