A minimum of four (4) years and a maximum of seven (7) years will be considered to be the timeframe for a part-time candidate.

Candidates seeking to apply to the PhD program must develop a 1500-word research proposal, a detailed research plan for the following three years and a description of how previous study and experience connect with the research proposed. Only research projects directly related to expertise areas of faculty members can be considered and possible funding sources for the project and for the student must be identified in the proposal. The PhD admissions committee will review the proposal and academic credentials of the applicant to determine admission to the program.
