CaMRI is presently addressing:
Chagas eradication, using community health education and promotion partnered with management interventions and entrepreneurial activities in order to make the ongoing suppression of the disease internally sustainable within community ecosystems [in proposal process with UN] In collaboration with Medical Assistance Program International [MAP].
Functional Management constructing a theory of locally-determined and culturally-appropriate set of management and leadership knowledge, skills, attributes, practice and tools that make small to medium-sized enterprises [SMEs] effective through relationships and practice. Functional management creates specific places of realized potential where human flourishing is possible. In collaboration with the Drucker Society.
Leadership Transitions developing grounded theory exploring board, predecessor and succesor relationships in president/CEO transitions in NGO/nonprofit organizations. In collaboration with the Murdock Trust & De Pree Leadership Center
Managing Turbulence Crisis and disaster are key factors in community wellness and disaster management tools have functional similarities with other approaches to management. This study defines an expanded understanding of crisis, and addresses the application of emergency management tools and systems to solving community problems (secondary crises), while indirectly also preparing communities to handle actual disasters (primary crises).
