Anthony Paparo, MS, PhD

Adjunct Professor, Histology

Dr. Paparo was appointed Co-Course Director in cell biology and histology at St. George’s University in 1992. He is responsible for the scheduling and preparation of unified midterm and final exams, conducting labs, lectures, and mock reviews. In addition, Dr. Paparo is a professor within the Department of Anatomical Sciences, an Adjunct Professor within the School of Veterinary Medicine, Term 1 coordinator within the School of Medicine, and former Associate Dean of Students.

Prior to joining SGU, Dr. Paparo taught at Ross University, and was a professor within the Department of Anatomy and Zoology at Southern Illinois University. He was also an instructor in microscopic and gross anatomy at Cornell University, as well as an instructor in the Department of Biology at both Queensborough Community College and Bronx Community College. Dr. Paparo has written several abstracts and is the author of a number of papers, books, and journals.
