Claude De Allie, DVM, Mphil, AFDO
Dr. Claude De Allie is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathobiology. His area of expertise is in veterinary anatomical pathology in the conduct of gross and microscopic pathology including disease surveillance. In addition, Dr. De Allie is interested in veterinary public health, food microbiology and general animal health care. He has worked on several research projects including research on avian influenza and swine influenza in collaboration with the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations and SGU.
Prior to his tenure with St. George’s University, Dr. De Allie worked in the veterinary services, Ministry of Agriculture, where he was responsible for pathology and disease surveillance.
Dr. De Allie earned his DVM from the Higher Institute of Agricultural Science (ISCAH)in Havana, Cuba and his M Phil (Vet. Sci.) from Massey University in New Zealand.
