Gregory Wybern, DVM
Director of Continuing Education
Dr. Gregory Wybern is Director of Continuing Education at the School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to coming to St. George’s, Dr. Wybern worked with Banfield Pet Hospital, where he was Medical Director, managing 40 hospitals, approximately 60 doctors, and 300 support staff in the Los Angeles and San Diego area.
Throughout his career, Dr. Wybern has gained experience in veterinary business management, corporate veterinary medicine and land development. In his early career, Dr. Wybern worked at three emergency clinics before opening his own in Marlboro, NJ. Thereafter, he opened five outpatient clinics in the surrounding areas, which referred cases to his central emergency clinic. With his outpatient clinics being managed by different veterinarians, this gave Dr. Wybern the opportunity to build a large animal facility. After 20 years of owning and operating his clinics, Dr. Wybern turned his large animal facility into a residential development and sold his veterinary practice.
Dr. Wybern earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Bachelors of Science in microbiology and agriculture from Colorado State University.
