Keshaw Prasad Tiwari, BVSc&AH
Dr. Keshaw Tiwari is Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathobiology where he is focused on teaching, disease diagnosis, and research. In addition to routine diagnostic work, Dr. Tiwari has been involved in data collection and analysis of diagnostic specimens, and his research has been published and/or presented at local and international scientific conferences.
Dr. Tiwari has been involved in ten research projects, either as the principal investigator or as a collaborator, and has authored and co-authored 30 research papers which have been published in peer-reviewed journals. He has been a research mentor for students at St. George’s University, at Michigan State University, and at Ecole National Veterinary School of Toulouse in France. His outstanding achievement and dedication in the field of Veterinary Medicine at St George’s University earned him a “Zoetis Award for Veterinary Research Excellence” in 2014. He has a special interest in disease diagnosis, and disease control programs, and, prior to coming to SGU, spent four years engaged in a large animal infertility control and management program in northern India.
Dr. Tiwari holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (equivalent to a DVM) from Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology in Uttar Pradesh, India, and graduated from SGU in 2013 with an MSC.
