Veterinary Bacteriology

The School of Veterinary Medicine at the St. George's University is a rapidly growing international center for veterinary education, located on the beautiful Caribbean island of Grenada . The program follows the general US pattern of four (4) years in duration, leading to the degree of DVM.

Applications are invited for a faculty position in Veterinary Bacteriology. Position will be available from July 2006.

The successful Candidate must have a DVM degree. Preference will be given to the candidate with both DVM and PhD degrees, plus advanced degree/training in Veterinary Bacteriology, and/or board certification, and to those with experience of teaching in the discipline.

Duties include assisting with the labs for DVM classes and in clinical rotations for bacteriology for term 6 students including assisting in research and graduate program of the school.

Salary is on a par with salaries at universities in the USA.
