Renowned International Graduate Programs
St. George’s University’s Master of Public Health program is accredited by The Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), making the University only the fourth non-US institution approved—and the only university in the Caribbean region—holding this distinction. In addition, SGU launched a unique Masters in Business Administration (MBA) online program with a Drucker-designed curriculum offering degrees in Health Sector Management as well as International Business.

SGU helps students manage the overwhelming amount of information they have to retain in a very short period of time with its commitment to proactive student academic support services. SGU’s Department of Educational Services is the largest such department in the region; through it, students learn study skills, time management, test-taking skills, and other skills necessary to learn complex, every-changing scientific material needed as a foundation for clinical practice and lifelong learning.

Most Unique Research Opportunities
SGU’s location and variety of dual degree programs provide unique research opportunities in areas such public health, anthropology, ecology, marine and terrestrial biology and ethics. The Windward Island Research and Education Foundation (WINDREF) research institute is on campus. A new research institute for aiding MD clinical student research was launched in 2009.

Unique Scholarship Offerings
St. George’s University offers a wide range of scholarship and financial aid opportunities specifically for aspiring Caribbean leaders. There is a wide range of scholarships available for students from Grenada, CariCom, OAS and Commonwealth countries. In addition, there are many merit-based scholarships such as the Caribbean Visionary, which is geared to keeping the best and brightest Caribbean minds in the region. Scholarships are administered through the University’s Student Financial Services department which also helps students through financial counseling and planning to ensure money does not get in the way of students achieving their dreams.
