Implemented pilot phase of BRIDGES project (Building Responsibility, Interdependence and Dedication through Gender Enlightenment and Sensitivity), a life skills education project in three St David’s schools.
Evaluated the Male Responsibility Program among secondary school students; compared KAP in students with and without the program; modified survey instrument for use in field.
Administered a client satisfaction survey in the clinics. Analyzed and reported on the survey.
Participated in providing sexual and reproductive health services at clinics and community education. Assisted in administering of contraceptives and counseling of clients; provided diagnostic services – pap smears, pregnancy testing.

Rheumatic Fever Project: Assisted with data entry, erection of paraphernalia (country wide), quantitative analysis (lab procedures)
Compiled complete database of all rheumatic cases and streamlined the data. Assisted with community education campaign: developed and designed power point used at PTA presentations to educate and sensitize the public.
Worked on Rheumatic Fever Project – assisted with obtaining throat swabs and blood samples from RF contacts, manipulation of data and streptococcal testing and isolation. Assisted with PTA’s and focus groups meetings.
Participated in public health research linked to quality of drinking water in Grenada and impact of hurricane Ivan on the water quality. Collected data on water quality from NAWASA before and after hurricane. Collected water samples at sites identified by the Chief Environmental health Officer and analyzed those samples. Submitted a report.
Environmental research on recreational water quality in Grenada. Collected and analyzed data and wrote a report.
Visited MCH clinics throughout Grenada to assess facilities and services offered after the impact of hurricane Ivan. Participated in research study on ‘The Effects of Hurricane Ivan on the Birth Rates and Antenatal Clinics on the tri-island state of Grenada’.
