St. George’s University USMLE Step 1 First-Time Test Takers Achieve 98% Pass Rate in 2013

Top Performance on USMLE Board Exams

St. George’s University students continue to flourish on the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 1 exam, with first-time takers registering a 96 percent pass rate in 2014, including a 97 percent pass rate for students from the United States and Canada.
The nearly 1,100 SGU students taking the exam for the first time hailed from 38 countries over six continents. They posted an impressive mean score of 226, with a mean score of 231 for SGU’s Canadian students.
