Network Services

Students

There are over one hundred and fifty (150) computers available for student use on the True Blue campus. Teaching labs and Print rooms are available in the following locations:

  • Charter Hall (Charter Print Room)
  • Founders Library East Wing, second level (Lab E217)
  • Founders Library West Wing, first level (LRC)
  • Founders Library West Wing, second level (Lab W200, W209 & W210)
  • Allen Pensick Hall (Pensick Print Room)
  • Keith B. Taylor Hall (Taylor Print Room)

The Office of Information Technology supports a Technical Assistant (TA) program to provide support in our teaching labs and print rooms. These areas are open and available to students seven (7) days a week. Wireless hot-spots provide Internet access throughout the entire campus.

Off Campus Housing

Local internet service providers, FLOW and LIME, provide internet access via Cable modem or DSL. Cellular access is provided by LIME and Digicel via their GSM and 4G networks. Students may contact these companies to establish their own connections.

Faculty

Notebook computers may be checked out by faculty. These notebooks are located in the Office of Information Technology in the East Wing of the Founders Library. Please see the policy on Loaner Notebook Computers.

Additional notebook computers are available to faculty for use in the lecture halls and small group rooms as presentation devices.
