Victoria Kimotho earned a MPH in Health Behaviour and Health Policy from St. George’s University, Grenada in December 2008 and is currently in the final stage of pursuing a PhD in Public Health at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and Kenya Medical Research Institute - Instutute of Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Ms. Kimotho is also currently a researcher with the Directorate of Health Policy and Systems Research (HPSR) at the African Medical Research Foundation (AMREF). Some of her responsibilities include taking the lead in developing AMREF advocacy strategy and establishing strategic partnerships for advocacy at national and global levels with the result of representing Africa for CSOs on health asks for civil G8 discussions with SHERPAs and G8 foreign ministers. She also provides research support to all AMREF country offices - Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa, Southern Sudan, and Ethiopia. Ms. Kimotho speaks English, Kiswahili, and Italian.
