Strategic Plan
This Information Technology Department Strategic Plan outlines the vision and planning context for moving forward with information technology for St. George's University.

Computer, Network, and Information Systems Access, Control, Use, and Security Policy
The purpose of this policy to establish minimum criteria for access, controls, use, and security of St. George's University (University) computers, networks, and information systems.

Internet Policy
The Internet policy which follows is an extension of the St. George's University (SGU) Computer, Network, and Information Systems Access, Control, Use and Security Policy currently in effect; its purpose is to mitigate the risks inherent in connecting to the Internet.

SGU Copyright Policy
It is the intent of St. George's University to comply with the U.S. Copyright Law (Title 17, U.S. Code, Sect. 101, et seq.). This policy represents a sincere effort to observe the copyright law.

SGU Bulk e-mail Policy
Definition of Bulk E-mail: One e-mail message sent to more than 10 people.

Microsoft Aggreement with SGU
St. George's University has recently renewed its Campus Agreement with Microsoft with a new expiration of March 1, 2009.

Virus Protection Policy
It is the responsibility of everyone who uses St. George's University's computer network to take reasonable measures to protect that network from virus infections.

Electronic Publishing Policy
The SGU Office of Information Technology maintains and administers web servers for use in electronic publications, e-Learning and for e-mail use by members of the SGU community.

"Firefly" (Wireless Internet) Policy
In an effort to improve our students' overall educational experience by giving them greater freedom and mobility, SGU has begun its Wireless Internet Campus Project—"Firefly."

Firefly Network Residential Housing Support Policy
With freedom of access to our Firefly network comes the responsibility to be a good network citizen. St. George’s University's Firefly network is available solely for the use of SGU students, faculty, and staff.
