The Department of Behavioral Sciences at St. George’s University, Grenada invites applications for a teaching position. The successful candidate will teach primarily within the School of Medicine. We seek an individual with strong teaching skills, a commitment to medical education, and a firm grounding in computer-based technologies. Strengths in several of the following areas are desirable: brain & behavior; doctor-patient relationship; behavioral medicine/health psychology; biostatistics; health systems; community and preventive medicine; stress & illness; substance abuse; pain management; medicine & society; human sexuality.
Qualifications include: The candidate should have either a doctorate in a field such as clinical or counseling psychology, or an MD degree. Level of appointment (assistant or associate professor) commensurate with teaching experience; salary competitive with US medical schools.
