Associate Professor, Biochemistry – Molecular Biology, SOM

The university is seeking to recruit a faculty member within the Department of Biochemistry. The suitable candidate should possess a PhD in biochemistry with emphasis on molecular biology or a PhD in molecular biology as well as demonstrated teaching experience in molecular biology preferably to medical students in a recognized medical school with a MD (MBBS) program. The level of appointment will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience.
Candidates are expected to have a positive commitment to teaching and small group learning. Primary responsibilities include teaching in team-taught courses for medical students, well-organized preparation and delivery of assigned material, and contribution to curriculum review and evaluation.
