The University is seeking to recruit a Professor and Course Director of Medical Genetics. A suitable candidate should possess a PhD in Human Genetics as well as demonstrated extensive teaching experience in Medical Biochemistry and Human Genetics in a recognized medical school with a MD (MBBS) program. Applications from candidates with both PhD and MD degrees will be especially welcome. The level of appointment will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience.
The Course Director oversees and contributes to the general teaching environment of the Medical Genetics course, including all forms of student-faculty communication, the organization of an online course management system, timely provision of new exam questions, adherence to the published schedule, and assisting in the administration of examinations. Candidates are expected to have a positive commitment to teaching and small group learning.
