The Department of Clinical Studies, School of Veterinary Medicine at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies invites applications for the position of Professor of Small Animal Surgery starting January 1, 2006. The primary responsibilities of this position are teaching the course small animal surgery to veterinary students, directing the Clinical Skills III (surgery laboratory) and serving as a consultant to the veterinary teaching hospital. Candidates must have a DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited college of veterinary medicine, expertise in small animal surgery and a sincere desire to teach veterinary students. Candidates with board certification in the American College of Veterinary Surgery or the European College of Veterinary Surgery will be given preference. Salary is consistent with that paid in most US veterinary schools.
