Admission requirements for the MBA and MIB degrees:

  • • A Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BSc) from a recognized university or college unless exempted by the Committee on Admission.
  • • TOEFL, if English is not the native language of the applicant. A score of 600 (paper) or 250 (computer-based) is required. Alternatively, a score of seven (7) on the IELTS can be submitted.
  • • GMAT Exam
  • • Recommended undergraduate courses:

    1. Introduction to Business

    2. Principles of Accounting

  • • Two letters of recommendation, preferably from teachers, professors, or supervisors in the workplace.
  • • Admission Essay. 300–500 words on the topic: “To be successful in today’s world requires a team-based or collectivist approach. Describe your participation in a team based project. Did it succeed or fail? What did you learn from this experience”?
  • • Visa issue? There is no issue. As a student of the SGU MBA/MIB degree program you are not required to obtain a visa to enter and study in Grenada. You may study a US-style MBA, taught by professors from the US, Caribbean and all over the world, without having to obtain an entry visa.
