The SGU Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master in International Business (MIB) professional degree programs are designed for students who aspire to be leaders. With a strong emphasis on real-world analysis of business management issues coupled with the Case Method style of instruction, the programs focus on students’ development of the skill-set necessary for successful business administration and leadership.
The program was designed by Michael Cappy, a Harvard MBA and a frequent lecturer at prestigious Business schools around the world. Having built businesses from the US to Italy to Brazil, Mr. Cappy infused his unique entrepreneurial perspective into this US-style MBA and MIB curricula to create a unique program.
The Master in Business Administration (MBA) program is a two-year program in which students are challenged to develop their managerial, analytical, and business skills through intensive foundational courses and apply them to real-world situations.
In addition, students are given the opportunity to concentrate their studies in chosen specializations, all within the context of the global marketplace.
The Master in International Business (MIB) degree program is an accelerated one-year program with a curriculum focused on developing intercultural awareness and the skills needed in the global marketplace.
All of the MIB credits are transferable to the MBA program for those MIB graduates who might consider continuing their graduate business education at St. George’s University.
St. George’s University currently offers degree programs for a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and a Masters in International Business (MIB).
The MBA program is a two-year 64-credit program. In the first year, students are immersed in intensive business foundation courses while in the second year they focus largely on their chosen specialization.
The MIB program is a one-year 34-credit program. The core curriculum of the MIB program is similar to the first-year MBA curriculum and all of the MIB credits are transferable to the MBA program for those MIB graduates who might consider continuing their graduate business education at St. George’s University.
