St. George’s University has a number of visiting scholars, educators, graduates, researchers and medical science professionals who each year enrich our academic program with dynamic and inspiring lectures. Many others also apply their education and training to serve the Grenadian community as well as enhance the knowledge and welfare of the global community.
Philip Finlay: Philip Finlay Leaves University to Join Family in U.S.
After serving St. George’s University as a faculty member for the past 11 years, Dr. Philip Finlay regretfully resigned from his post as Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of Medical Education.
Fred M. Jacobs: New Chair of Medicine Named
With the appointment a new Chair of Medicine, St. George’s University has again demonstrated its effort and commitment to ensuring excellence in education and positive growth into the 21st century.
Dr. Daniel D. Ricciardi: New Associate Dean of Clinical Studies
A new Associate Dean of Clinical Studies for St. George’s University was named in the school’s effort to further expand and enhance the excellent clinical program that is already in place.
Denis F. Paul: New Associate Dean of Clinical Studies
Dr. Denis F. Paul, the new Director of Institutional Advancement at the University, is also a professor in the Department of Liberal Studies in the School of Arts and Sciences at St. George’s University.
Allen H. Pensick: New Associate Dean of Clinical Studies
Allen H. Pensick, PhD, the new Provost at St. George’s University, was living and working in Nebraska as a farmer and horse trainer and was a faculty member at the University of Nebraska when he learned of an open position at St. George’s University.
Dr. Merle Collins: 23rd Annual Conference on West Indian Literature
Grenadian poet and novelist Dr. Merle Collins, called the foremost writer of her country, read to a packed audience last week in the University's Caribbean House.
Rodney Croft: Mr. Rodney Croft Assumes Role of UK Dean
