Keith B. Taylor Global Scholars Program - Admission Requirements

The academic admission requirements are the same as Direct Entry to the first term of Basic Sciences in the School of Medicine in Grenada. 

A bachelor’s degree with a strong science foundation and MCAT scores are required, if educated in the United States or Canada.

Please make a clear note on the School of Medicine application that you would like to be considered for the Keith B. Taylor Global Scholars Program. 

Prospective students who wish to apply for this program must include a 500-word essay which demonstrates a commitment to dedicating at least a part of their professional lives to practicing medicine in developing countries or underserved regions of a developed country.

All courses are taught in English, and entry at any level requires English language proficiency.  Where English is not the applicant’s first language, an IELTS (or TOEFL equivalent) score of 7.0 is required.
