The School of Medicine provides students with the skills to develop and improve health care delivery in developing nations and established systems throughout the world. To date over 6,800 graduates are practicing medicine in over 35 countries.
Students interested in pursuing the MD degree will study in Grenada, and will complete their clinical training in an affiliated hospital in the US or the UK.
The School of Medicine offers master’s degree programs in public health, microbiology, and clinical anatomy and education.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program will provide the education necessary to meet the increasing demand for quality healthcare professionals in all aspects of today’s society.
SGU programs are enhanced by the presence of the independent research institute, the Windward Islands Research and Education Foundation, located on the True Blue campus.
The Keith B. Taylor Global Scholars Program combines the excellence of the SGU School of Medicine program with the added bonus of a one-year experience of medical education on the Northumbria University campus in Newcastle, UK.
The Program offers an opportunity of a lifetime for high school and college age students interested in the fields of medicine or veterinary medicine.
