Mission Statement:

Founded in 1994, WINDREF seeks to advance health and environmental development through multi-disciplinary research and education programs.

WINDREF strives for program excellence by promoting collaborative relationships between internationally recognized scholars and regional scientists and by adhering to the highest ethical and academic standards in the design and conduct of research.

Biomedical Waste Management of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States

Cystic Hydatid Disease - collaborative project to rid the disease from Morocco, N. Africa.

Dengue - providing a diagnostic and surveillance system for Grenada.

Lymphatic Filariasis - collaborative project to rid the disease from Guyana, S. America.

Rheumatic Fever - saving children from devastating heart disease in Grenada.
