Join the vibrant student experience that our Grenada campus offers as you complete science prerequisites and core preclinical requirements as you advance into SGU’s world-renowned medical school program.
SGU’s postbaccalaureate program is designed for students who have earned a bachelor’s degree and want to pursue medical training, but lack the science prerequisites needed for admission into medical school.
This 43-credit program permits students to complete the prerequisite science classes in one year with a pathway into our Doctor of Medicine (MD) program.
Program Entry Requirements
To qualify for admission into the St. George’s University School of Arts and Sciences postbaccalaureate program, you must have earned a:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with few or none of the science courses needed to satisfy SGU’s medical school requirements.
- Suggested grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
