Euan Allan, MSc, PhD
Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies, SVM
Dr. Allan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathobiology and the Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies for the SVM at St. George’s University.
After completing an honors degree and MSc in the department of Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary, Dr. Allan completed a PhD in Veterinary Medicine (U of C) specializing in neuroinflammation and autoimmunity. He followed this up with a 3 year NIH funded postdoctoral fellowship studying schistosomiasis at Oregon State University.
He is currently teaching Immunology to DVM students, and scientific text, organization and presentation to graduate students in the SVM.
Dr. Allan’s research focuses on the initiation of immune diseases and comparative immunology using animal models.
