Push your boundaries with an exciting opportunity to begin your MD studies at Northumbria University (NU) in the UK before continuing to Grenada. Earn your MD from SGU and a Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMedSci) degree from NU, while learning in a different healthcare environment. Key features include:

Residency placement rate is defined as the total number of international students/graduates (non-US or Canadian) who obtained a US residency divided by the total number of international students/graduates who applied to a US residency program in a given year as of September 2025.
- Total results from the five calendar years 2020-2024. First-time pass rate is defined as the number of international (non-US citizen/permanent resident or Canadian) students passing USMLE Step 1 on their first attempt divided by the total number of international students taking USMLE Step 1 for the first time within the given time range. In order to be certified to take USMLE Step 1, students are required to pass all basic sciences courses.
- Total results from the five academic years 2020-2024. First-time pass rate is defined as the number of international (non-US citizens/permanent residents and Canadian) students passing USMLE Step 2 CK on their first attempt divided by the total number of international (non-US citizens/permanent residents and Canadian) students taking USMLE Step 2 CK for the first time. USMLE Step 2 CK is typically taken upon completion of third-year core clinical rotations.

St. George’s University is proud to partner with the University of Waterloo to launch a transformative and streamlined track from high school to a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Key features include:
