Scholarships

The University offers a wide variety of institutional scholarships designed to recognize academic excellence and provide access to the best and brightest students regardless of circumstance. In addition to University-Sponsored Scholarships, we have worked to procure other unique scholarship opportunities for our students. MBA Program Scholarship
Students enrolling in the MBA degree program will automatically be awarded a scholarship.  This program offers students a true distance learning experience, with online classes held twice weekly in the evening hours and augmented with two one-week residencies at our True Blue Campus in Grenada.  Upon acceptance to the MBA program all students will receive the MBA Scholarship, reducing tuition by 30%.

The Commonwealth-Grenada St. George’s University Scholarship Program
Master of Business Administration Degree Program
Academically gifted students with limited resources deserve the ability to reach their potential.  SGU recognizes this, and that’s why in January 2007 the University launched The Commonwealth-Grenada St. George’s University Scholarship Program (CGSP).
The program includes 75 scholarships, 25 of which will be awarded to students entering the Master of Business Administration program. The goal of these scholarships is to deliver trained managers who will be able to assist developing countries build effective infrastructures in business, industry and government.  There will be an emphasis on international business and entrepreneurial skills, with a concentration on public sector management and hotel/tourism management.
A Commonwealth-Grenada St. George’s University Scholarship Committee established by the University awards the scholarships.  To date, 12 scholarships have been awarded to students from eight different Commonwealth countries.  While the $4 million (USD) program will fully fund tuition, students will require separate support for living and traveling expenses.

A prospective scholarship candidate must be a resident citizen of a Commonwealth country who has been accepted to St. George’s University Master of Business Administration program.  SGU will maintain strict adherence to its admission requirements.  Award determinations will be made by the Commonwealth-Grenada St. George’s University Scholarship Committee based primarily on academic excellence, financial need and the student’s commitment to business development.  

Prospective scholarship candidates must be accepted to St. George’s University Master of Business Administration program and submit the scholarship application with an essay no later than September 15 for the January entering class.  The deadline for the August class is April 15.

Envision yourself at 70 years of age.  Describe the impact this scholarship has made on your life, and the difference that this has made in your community and country.

Master of Public Health Degree Program
