St. George’s University offers a variety of college scholarships to help you address the cost of college
The University offers a wide variety of institutional scholarships designed to recognize academic excellence and provide access to the best and brightest students regardless of circumstance. In addition to University-Sponsored Scholarships, we have worked to procure unique scholarship opportunities for our students.
Scholarship Opportunities
Graduate Studies Scholarship
In partnership with the Grenadian Government, a limited number of Graduate Studies Grenadian Partnership Awards are available for eligible Grenadian students entering a School of Graduate Studies program. These awards are grants-in-aid and do not have to be repaid. Please refer to the application for further details.
Award determinations are based upon:
- Demonstrated commitment to program/country by timely submission of Ministry Scholarship Application
- Degree of financial need in consideration with the student’s ability to finance his/her complete education beyond the extent of scholarships
- Availability of funds from the University to meet that need
Eligible programs of study:
- Master of Public Health MPH
- Master of Business Multi-Sector Health Management MBA MSHM
- Master of Business International Business MBA INTB
- Master of Science MSc
- Master of Education MEd
- Master of Arts in Clinical-Community Psychology CCP
- Doctor of Philosophy PhD
Application Deadlines:
- March 1 for May class
- June 1 for August class
- November 1 for January class
Applications submitted after the deadline may be considered up to the day of registration for students admitted to the University after the scholarship deadline.
No applications will be accepted later than the first day of classes.
SGU partners with the Government of Grenada to determine scholarship awards. Scholarship award announcements are typically made after registration. Students should be prepared with an alternate funding plan to meet their tuition obligations if not selected.

MacAndrew Scholarship
The MacAndrew Scholarship seeks to make tertiary education possible for some of Grenada’s top scholars who might otherwise be unable to attend university. This Scholarship Program is a collaboration between the Sandals Foundation and St. George’s University (SGU).
Recipients, who must be resident Grenadian citizens, will be able to utilize these full and partial tuition scholarships in order to pursue the specified undergraduate and graduate degrees within the Schools of Arts and Sciences and Graduate Studies at SGU. The MacAndrew Scholarships are designed to foster Grenada’s development by investing in building the human resource capacity in three key areas critical to national development.
