Bio
Courtney’s lifelong love for art and science compelled her to pursue medical illustration upon graduating with a bachelor’s degree in physiology from Oklahoma State University. Shortly after obtaining her master’s degree in Medical and Biological Illustration from Johns Hopkins University, she joined St. George’s University’s BVIS team, fulfilling her desire to make an impact on medical education. Courtney’s efforts to support radiology education through her master’s thesis were recognized by the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI) through the 2023 Alan Cole Scholarship, which motivated her contribute to SGU student and faculty research with her skills. Outside of the office, she enjoys open water swimming and studying Mandarin Chinese.
