    Bio

    Salisha is a dedicated Nurse and Instructor within the Nursing and Allied Health Department, bringing a strong clinical background and a passion for education to my role. Her approach combines evidence-based practice with real-world applications, aiming to bridge the gap between theory and clinical reality.

    She is particularly passionate about research and its role in advancing patient care and professional practice. She is actively engaged in exploring areas of interest within nursing and allied health, with a focus on improving outcomes, promoting best practices, and fostering critical thinking among students and colleagues.

    As an educator, she strives to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and lifelong learning. She believes in the power of mentorship and am committed to the academic and personal growth of my students.

    • The effect of Breast Cancer on Women between the age of 18- 49 years in Grenada Aim: This study aims to explore the emotional and psychological effects of breast cancer on women aged 18-49 in Grenada, focusing on the challenges they face and the impact of breast self-examination on mortality rates. It seeks to provide insights to improve support systems and early detection efforts in the Caribbean context.
