The seven–year Doctor of Medicine program isdesigned for students who have secondary school credentials who need to study a complete course in the foundation sciences necessary to be successful in the medical degree program. With a focus on preclinical sciences, social sciences, and humanities, the seven–year entry point offers this necessary foundation.
Dual BS/MD Degree Option
By entering SGU’s seven-year preclinical program, you may be eligible to earn a Bachelor of Science on your way to completing your Doctor of Medicine. The BS/MD option allow you to complete your undergraduate degree in three years of undergraduate and preclinical courses.
