ACCESS YOUR SGU
Email addresses are created within 48 business hours of a deposit being received. SGU will use your alternate email address to notify you that your account has been created and provide instructions on how to access your new SGU email address through the University Portal (formerly known as Carenage). SAVE THE DATE
A mandatory orientation is scheduled to begin Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in a digital format, which will include self-paced recordings and online meetings with your professors and peers. Classes will begin on Monday, January 18, 2021.
COMPLETE YOUR REQUIRED
Any student attending St. George’s University must complete the required admission forms prior to starting. These forms are the University Honor Code and the Entering Students Questionnaire. Links to both forms can be found below.

In preparation for January 2021, a copy of your passport details page is required. Please scan or take a photo of the details page (containing your photo and your passport information) and email it to your admissions officer or to email@example.com. THE SGU ID BADGE
All incoming students will be issued an official SGU student ID badge when they return to campus. Student ID badges are required to access campus buildings, classes, and university transportation. For more information, visit the university ID badge page at the link below.

Stay up to date with SGU events and news by following us on social media. Our Accepted Student Facebook groups make it easy for you to connect with your incoming classmates from all over the world. There are also Admissions Officers available to answer questions.
ATTEND A NEW STUDENT
Entering students are encouraged to attend one of our pre-orientation Welcome Sessions prior to the start of term. You will have the opportunity to speak with fellow classmates and get first-hand answers to last-minute questions. These sessions are not mandatory; they are optional for accepted students seeking more information before the start of term.

LEARN ABOUT HEALTH INSURANCE
It is SGU policy that all students maintain adequate health insurance and must confirm existing coverage. All students must either elect into or waive out of the plan. For information on how to elect into or waive out of the student health insurance plan, please see the Student Health Insurance Information section of the University Portal.

COMPLETE YOUR HEALTH FORM
Within two weeks of submitting your deposit, health forms will be emailed to your SGU student email account. If you have not received your health forms within two weeks of submitting your deposit, please email Susan Conway at email@example.com. Please include your full name, ID number, and program. Once received, SGU health forms should be completed and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
