Professional Expertise, Interests and Research Areas

Dr. Christiane Jordan is a Clinical Instructor at the Small Animal Clinic in the School of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree with Honors from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad in 2016.

Prior to joining SGU, Dr. Jordan worked with private small animal practices and shelter clinics in Barbados and has been a member of the Barbados Veterinary Association since graduation.

Her clinical interests include Small Animal Internal Medicine, Parasitology, Ophthalmology, and Toxicology. During veterinary school she has done research exploring antimicrobial resistance in Trinidad & Tobago. She aims to complete a MSc. in Veterinary Parasitology while at SGU.

Personal Background and Interests
