Eugene Rennie, DVM, MSc

Associate Professor

Dr. Eugene Rennie is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology program at St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. He has been with the SGU/SVM since its inception and currently teaches Anatomy and Neuroanatomy to pre-vet program students, and Anatomy to SVM students.

Prior to joining SGU, Dr. Rennie worked for Grenada’s Ministry of Agriculture, ran a small animal clinic at the Grenada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA), and also operated a mobile veterinary clinic. He is the present president of the Grenada Veterinary Medical Association and a cofounder of the St. Andrews Youth Debating committee.

Dr. Rennie obtained his veterinary degree from the Agrarian University of Havana Cuba, (Instituto Superior De Ciencias Agropecuarias De La Habana), and in 2012 completed his Master of Science degree (MSc) at St. George’s University
