Gary Belotzerkovsky is vice president of student operations and university registrar at St. George’s University. Mr. Belotzerkovsky brings more than 15 years of experience as a student service and regulatory executive in higher education. He is an education advocate with a proven track record of serving international student populations and collaborating with academic, technology, corporate, and legal teams.
As vice president of student operations, Mr. Belotzerkovsky leads the clinical education operations group with a specific focus in the areas of clinical scheduling for third- and fourth-year clerkships, hospital and regulatory paperwork, student services, and maintenance of student systems. Mr. Belotzerkovsky also has oversight of financial aid, student health documentation and student health insurance.
As university registrar, Mr. Belotzerkovsky leads the Office of the University Registrar with a focus on aligning, strengthening, and automating processes and systems, leading to greater efficiency, enhanced customer service functions, and a fully executable audit function. He also provides leadership in amplifying the teams necessary to support all Registrar functions across the organization and collaborating with all departments in all schools to enhance Registrar support and effectiveness.
Previously, Mr. Belotzerkovsky lead the regulatory compliance group with a specific focus in the areas of immigration support services, student systems, and related data stewardship, and supporting the regulatory reporting and accreditation processes for the Schools of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Arts and Sciences, and Graduate Studies.
Prior to joining SGU, Mr. Belotzerkovsky spent the last decade within Caribbean medical education, most recently as Associate Dean for Academic and Student Operations, for which he provided oversight of clinical operations, student service operations, data analysis, hospital contracting, and regulatory and compliance services.
