Dr. Lucian Thomas joined the SGU SVM Faculty at St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2023 as an Instructor in the Small Animal Surgery and Medicine Academic Program. Prior to 2023, Dr. Thomas was an Assistant Professor at the Small Animal Clinic (SAC).
Her interests are elective surgeries, dermatology and public health. Dr. Thomas taught a didactic course in physical diagnosis skills, instructed students during clinical rotations at the SAC, facilitates in Clinical Skills labs and is Fear-Free Certified. Dr. Thomas served as a member of the SVM Outreach Program and is dedicated to the One Health One Medicine (OHOM) community outreach programs. OHOM programs are student-centric, delivering vaccinations and preventive care to under-served communities. She provides faculty mentorship to students.
Dr. Thomas earned her DVM from St. George’s University (2007), BSc (2002) and MSc (2015).
