    Bio

    Mrs. Abdullah began her career at SGU in 2009 as a supplemental learning leader in the Department of Educational Services (DES), where she facilitated small collaborative learning groups in undergraduate Biochemistry, General Chemistry, and Nutrition until 2018.

    Throughout her career, she has developed extensive experience in leading and facilitating small groups in a collaborative and interactive learning environment.

    In January 2019, Mrs. Abdullah joined the Biochemistry Department as the course director for General Biology and later for General Chemistry-I, then concepts to General Chemistry-I and II. She also teaches in various courses including Biochemistry and Genetics.

    Mrs. Atoum earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Chemistry in 2005. She completed a Master’s degree in E-Learning and Instructional Design in 2019 from Munster Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cork, Ireland. Currently defending a doctorate dissertation in Public Health Education from the American College of Education (ACE) in Indiana, U.S.A.

    Her interests include innovative teaching and learning methods, instructional design, scientific animation, and simulation.
