    Bio

    Dr. Nuria Quesada is an Associate Professor in the Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Department in the School of Veterinary Medicine.

    Dr. Quesada graduated from the University Complutense of Madrid (Spain) in 2012. After working 5 years in Spain in two referral hospitals, she moved to the United Kingdom, where she completed an anesthesia-specific internship at a private referral clinic in Derby (Pride Referrals) and a three-year European and American Residency training programs at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London. The residency program also included a Master of Veterinary Medicine (MVetMed) and a Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (TLiHE) course. In 2023, Dr. Quesada obtained both diplomas for the American and European Colleges of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia, giving her the DipACVAA and DipECVAA statu.

    Dr. Quesada´s areas of interest are hemodinamia in anesthesia, anesthesia complications, as well as pain management.
