Using the ServiceNow App

You may install the ServiceNow app on your mobile device to submit requests and check the status of your tickets.

To install on an android device:

  • Go to the Google Play store.
  • Search for ServiceNow
  • Install the ServiceNow App

Google Play

To install on an iOS device:

  • Go to the App Store.
  • Search for ServiceNow
  • Install the ServiceNow App

Apple App Store

Once downloaded, to set up the ServiceNow app:

  • Enter the following address of the ServiceNow instance: https://support.sgu.edu
  • Enter your SGU credentials.
  • Click the Navigator icon (3 dashes) to the top right of the screen to display the menu.
  • From the menu provided, click the My Incidents link then click the create new red and white plus icon to enter a new incident/help request.
  • The top fields are editable only by an IT analyst.
  • Enter a short description, additional comments and attachments, if necessary.
  • Click the Save link.

You may navigate back to see the list of incidents you have open.

NOTE: You will receive email notifications once you submit an incident, once the incident is updated by an analyst and also when the incident is closed. These emails will come from IT Support Services.
