    Biography

    Jan Bertulfo is a medical illustrator currently working as a Demonstrator in the Department of Anatomical Sciences at St. George’s University. He graduated summa cum laude from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Medical illustration, supported by a Presidential Scholarship and consistent Dean’s List honors.

    Jan became a student member of the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI) in 2024 and advanced to Professional Member status in 2025, continuing his active involvement in the field.

    Since joining SGU, he has contributed numerous scientific illustrations and visual aids to academic publications and manuscripts. Notably, his work includes an illustration comparing monozygotic and dizygotic twins for a book chapter on multifactorial disorders.

    Jan’s work bridges scientific accuracy and visual clarity, supporting effective communication in medical education and research.
