Biography
Leselle Pierre-Romain, MSc, is the Deputy Chair of a CEPH-accredited MPH program at the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at St. George’s University, where she also serves as an Instructor and the Applied Experience (APEX) Coordinator. As the APEX coordinator, she guides her students annually through their practicum experience, ensuring meaningful, competency-based engagement with public health institutions.
Leselle is an active member of the International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR), where she serves on various committees to advance dialogue of health outcomes research in Small Island Developing States (SIDS). Her interest in health outcomes has inspired her presentation at the Grenada 50-50 Conference on the burden of road traffic crashes in Grenada.
Leselle’s current work blends teaching, mentorship and applied research, with a commitment to building capacity in the Caribbean region. Passionate about integrating evidence into policy and practice, she views her vocation as both professional and service-driven.
