SGU’s School of Arts and Sciences celebrated academic excellence, leadership, and service at its third annual SAS Awards Ceremony, honoring standout students, faculty, and staff with more than 20 awards—including new recognitions for student choice and faculty mentorship.

4. Two Generations, One Goal: Grenadian Mother and Son Graduate Together from SGU
Jenny and Kodi Thomas, a mother–son duo from Tivoli, St. Andrew, graduated together at SGU’s Grenada Commencement Ceremony. Their shared milestone highlighted years of mutual support, resilience, and a deep commitment to education.
