Project managers remain in high demand at companies across the globe. A career in project management requires a professional capable of leading teams through project development phases efficiently and consistently.
SGU’s Certificate in Project Management focuses on a proven, repeatable, and scalable project management methodology. Four project management courses provide you the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to initiate and position projects for success.
Each course demonstrate best practices and tools for initiating a project, planning for time and cost, anticipating project risks, communicating objectives and expectations, managing project tasks, and executing the project closeout phase.
Based on principles set out by the Project Management Institute (PMI), the program is intended to help you prepare for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification offered by PMI.
Program Entry Requirements
To qualify for admission into a St. George’s University School of Arts and Sciences undergraduate degree program, you must meet the following requirements:
- Caribbean or British education system students: Five General Proficiency Caribbean Secondary Examination Certificate (CSEC) or ordinary level passes, which should include both English and mathematics.
- North American education model students: Complete 12 years of primary and secondary school education.
Students with an associate’s degree, CAPE, the International Baccalaureate, Advanced Levels, or equivalent may request exemption from coursework.
