Do you:

  • Advise pre-health professions students?
  • Guide future generations of doctors and veterinarians?

We welcome colleagues in pre-health advising to SeeSGU for themselves.  One of the most important decisions your students will ever make deserves a closer look. Visit our campus, meet our faculty and students, and experience the island of Grenada. Your SeeSGU Advisor visit will include three days on our vibrant campus, where you will meet our faculty and students, and an opportunity to experience the island of Grenada.

What’s included?

As our guest, your airfare, hotel, meals, and ground transportation are paid for by St. George’s University.

What will I be able to do and experience once I am on campus?

Tours include classrooms, study spaces, clinical facilities, labs, student housing, food options, the Fitness Centre and more. You will have the opportunity to meet with students, faculty and staff as well from both the School of Medicine and School of Veterinary Medicine.

Cristina Haverty, Dean, School of Health Sciences, Lasell University

“I want to thank you for a great experience at St. George’s. The event was wonderful and provided the opportunity to imagine our students studying and succeeding at SGU. Your hospitality was amazing, fun, and informative.”

Sarah Imam, MD, Director of Health Sciences, Associate Professor, The Citadel

“I am well informed about SGU and I feel I am able to advise my students about SGU constructively. I am impressed with everything that is offered and I can compare this to a US school. SGU is by far, very much invested in the students and their outcomes.”

Denis Larochelle Director of Prehealth Advising, Clark University, Worcester, MA

“Prior to the visit I already had a favorable opinion of SGU and this visit has only strengthened that opinion. I was particularly pleased to hear about all of the support in place to help students make it through all of the stages leading to a successful residency placement.”

Cody Clinton Director of Pre-Professional Advising, University of Memphis, Memphis, TN

“Thank you for the wonderful trip! You really made me feel part of the community and I just loved the entire vibe of the event. I had so many great conversations with the different advisors and the SGU team that I really felt included and respected in my field.”
