Dr. Maria Mercedes Miccio is an Assistant Professor in the Small Animal Medicine and Surgery academic program. Her professional expertise is centered on veterinary anesthesia, with special interests in loco-regional anesthesia, ultrasonography, and cardiology.
Dr. Miccio earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the prestigious University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in Argentina. Originally from Buenos Aires, she combines her clinical expertise with a passion for teaching, inspiring the next generation of veterinary professionals.
