    Biography

    Dr. Bhaktavatsalam Peta earned his MBBS from Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad, India, and pursued his M.S. in Community Health at Minnesota State University, USA. With more than 12 years of academic experience at St. George’s University, Grenada, he currently serves as Lecturer and Deputy Chair in the Department of Pathophysiology.

    In his role, Dr. Peta is deeply engaged in integrating basic and clinical sciences across multiple organ systems, including cardiovascular, pulmonary, hematologic, gastrointestinal, reproductive, and immune systems. He has extensive experience teaching large cohorts of medical students and is actively involved in curriculum development, student assessment, and academic coordination. He actively participates in international medical and educational conferences.

    Dr. Peta’s academic career reflects a strong commitment to fostering student success, advancing medical education practices, and promoting collaborative scholarship in the health sciences.
