    Biography

    Joel Troy Noel is an accomplished academic and finance professional with over two decades of experience in higher education, accounting, and business administration. He has served as an Assistant Professor of Financial Accounting at St. George’s University since 2007, where he plays a crucial role in shaping the next generation of business leaders. Before this, he lectured in Accounting and Business Management at T. A. Marryshow Community College and taught Accounting and Mathematics at St. John’s Christian Secondary School, thereby establishing a strong educational foundation early in his career.

    Mr. Noel’s professional background extends beyond academia into the corporate sector. He worked as a Junior Accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and W. R. Agostini, FCCA, where he gained extensive experience in preparing financial statements, conducting tax computations, and participating in both interim and final audits. Additionally, he served as a part-time instructor in Intermediate Accounting and Taxation at St. George’s University from 2003 to 2005.

    A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), which he achieved in 2015, Mr. Noel holds a rich academic portfolio. His qualifications include a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Derby, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Leicester, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from St. George’s University. He is currently enhancing his academic pursuits as a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) candidate in Entrepreneurship at Walden University, where his research interests focus on the sustainability, profitability, and economic impact of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
