    Biography

    Keston Bhola is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computers and Technology at the School of Arts and Sciences, St. George’s University (SGU), Grenada. With over 15 years of experience in higher education, he has played a central role in curriculum development, accreditation efforts, and student engagement within the department.

    He has served as Course Director for the undergraduate mathematics curriculum, designed and contributed to multiple information technology courses, and actively integrates emerging technologies into teaching—particularly low-code/no-code solutions, relational databases, and cybersecurity frameworks. His commitment to student development extends beyond the classroom as an advisor to the MISIT student organization and as an engaged contributor to SGU’s academic community.

    Professor Bhola also serves on the Judicial Committee and the SAS Awards Committee and currently chairs the Departmental Advisory Board in His role as Deputy Chair of the Department. His research spans cybersecurity governance and compliance, relational database modeling, and network systems security. He has co-authored peer-reviewed work on integrating GIS and social media data for disease exposure assessment, reflecting his interdisciplinary interest in data-driven decision-making and societal impact.

    Dedicated to advancing IT education and cybersecurity awareness in the Caribbean, Mr. Bhola contributes to discourse on data protection laws, digital governance, and network optimization strategies. He is committed to equipping the next generation of computing professionals with both the technical expertise and ethical grounding required to navigate an evolving digital landscape.
